Karin Bertulis, PT, MPT, PRPC, DN graduated from Northern Illinois University with a Bachelor's degree in Biology and a Minor in Psychology in May 1995. She attended Governor's State University and graduated with honors in December 1998 with a Master's Degree in Physical Therapy. Karin has over 20 years of experience in Orthopedics, Pelvic Rehabilitation, Obstetric Rehabilitation, and Sports Medicine.
Karin has attended and participated as a teacher’s assistant in many courses through the Herman and Wallace Institute, and passed a comprehensive exam to receive her Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner Certification in April 2014.
Karin joined IMPACT Physical Therapy to specialize in Women's Pelvic Health. She treats a wide range of pelvic floor conditions such as urinary/ fecal incontinence, pelvic floor dysfunction, dyssynergic defecation, osteoporosis, constipation, SI dysfunction, painful bladder syndrome, and obstetric low back pain.
On a personal note, Karin is married with two children and a rescue dog. She enjoys Yoga, Pilates, walking her dog, attending her children’s sporting events, traveling, and reading.
