Veda McIntire, PT, PRPC (Colorado Springs, CO)

I am a 1986 graduate of the University of Kentucky. I am currently working towards a doctorate in physical therapy through A. T. Still University. I first became interested in pelvic rehabilitation more than 20 years ago after attending a women’s health symposium in Dallas where I heard many speakers that we have come to know and appreciate as pioneers in this specialty. I was impressed at the time that physical therapy for this patient population was so much more than telling women to do Kegels. I still stand impressed with how our profession of physical therapy has grown to give hope and relief to both men and women who suffer from pelvic musculoskeletal dysfunctions. For the past 20 years, I have focused my passion on furthering my education through Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute, and wish to express my personal gratitude to the instructors for their part in furthering the practice of physical therapy for pelvic rehabilitation. I am proud to be listed among those who are certified by the institute. I am working in a small but dynamic outpatient orthopedic clinic in Colorado Springs. We are in the process of opening a satellite across town that will be specific for pelvic rehab and complex pain issues, hopefully to be up and going in mid-June.
