Andrea is an experienced physical therapist who has provided care for patients in the Indianapolis area since 1998. Her private practice focuses on helping women and men with pelvic floor conditions, such as pelvic pain and sexual dysfunction, urinary and fecal incontinence, coccyx and low back pain, and pre-natal/post-partum conditions. Additionally, she treats those with abdominal pain, often caused by endometriosis, IBS or post-surgical scarring and adhesions. Andrea earned the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner certification, distinguishing her as an expert in therapy for these challenging pelvic conditions in 2015. Andrea also completed extensive training for lymphedema management with Klose-Norton in 2000 and was awarded her national lymphedema therapist certification by the Lymphology Association of North America in 2002, which she maintains to provide comprehensive oncology and lymphedema care.
Andrea graduated from Indiana University in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. She has extensive experience developing the pelvic health therapy program for a major hospital, as well as mentoring other therapists working in smaller hospitals. Believing strongly in personalized and focused, hands-on care for each patient, Andrea opened her own private practice in 2015. She has been an adjunct instructor in pelvic floor education through the American Physical Therapy Association. Andrea is a member of the Society of Urologic Nurses and Associates (SUNA) and the International Pelvic Pain Society (IPPS). She seeks out opportunities to speak and educate the public about the impact of physical therapy and all the benefits of this non-invasive approach to treatment.
