Becky Wilcox, PT, MPT, PRPC joined the team at Physical Therapy of Tulsa in Tulsa, OK upon graduating with her Master of Physical Therapy in 2010 from The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. She began treating patients with orthopedic spinal dysfunction and developed her skills in manual treatment of the spine, pelvis and hips early out of school. Exposure to the specialty of pelvic floor physical therapy during school and witnessing how small bits of information can have life-changing effects for patients inspired her to begin training with Herman & Wallace after about 6 months of clinical practice. She earned her PRPC in November, 2014, and is currently treating men and women with bladder, bowel, and pelvic floor dysfunction. She has been trained in an array of manual therapy techniques, including visceral mobilization and Trigger Point Dry Needling. In the years since beginning her practice Becky has established the Women’s Wellness branch at PT of Tulsa and has grown the program to include a Physical Therapist Assistant, Sarah Dyer, PTA. The mission of the program is to empower women of all ages and stages to achieve and maintain a strong, healthy, and active lifestyle. Becky strives to be a role model for this mission as she has run more than 10 marathons and enjoys practicing various forms of yoga, the principles of which she incorporates into her physical therapy practice.
