Dr. Lindsey Liggan graduated from California State University Long Beach with her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Exercise Science, and earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Western University of Health Sciences. Lindsey has undergone training in manual therapy, pelvic floor rehabilitation, orthopedics, pain modulation, and visceral mobilization. She recently earned her Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner Certification (PRPC) from the Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute.
Lindsey is currently serving as an Instructor/ Clinical faculty for the Department of Physical Therapy at Western University of Health Sciences. Her areas of teaching include anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology. She is committed to furthering her knowledge and continuing to grow as an educator and as a clinician.
Lindsey is a active member of the American Physical Therapy Association (Orthopedic, Women’s Health, and Education sections). She is also a member of the International Pelvic Pain Society and Southern California Pelvic Floor Sexual Medicine Collaborative Group.
Lindsey is a self-proclaimed science nerd and loves all things science related. In her free time she enjoys walking half marathons, practicing yoga, and belly dancing.
