Falguni Vashi has been a PT for 17 years. She graduated from M.S University in India in 2000 with a bachelors degree in PT. She graduated with DPT in 2008 from MGH Institute of Health Professionals. She has practiced in a variety of settings including acute care, acute rehab, short term rehab and now in outpatient rehab. She has been a Pelvic Floor PT for the last few years and has become very passionate about treating pelvic floor patients. She is now certified as a Pelvic Rehab Practitioner (PRPC) through Herman and Wallace. She has been with St Joseph Hospital in Nashua since 2008. She currently runs the Pelvic Health Program at one of the outpatient sites and works with men, women and children with pelvic floor dysfunction, treating urinary and bowel dysfunction, sexual dysfunction, generalized pelvic pain, chronic pain, pre and post partum symptoms. Recently, she has been treating some oncology patients as well. She also does community education and provider education to spread the awareness about pelvic health. She is a member of the International Pelvic Pain Society (IPPS), National Vulvodynia Association (NVA) and American Urogynecology Society (AUGS). She believes in treating a person as a whole and healing patients from the physical and emotional burden of pelvic dysfunction so that they can improve their quality of life and fulfill their roles in the society.
When she is not working, she likes to spend time with her husband and three children, and watch movies and read.
