Sandy McDonald received her Bachelor of Science degree in physical therapy from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas Allied Health Sciences School in December of 1992. She started training in treatment of pelvic floor dysfunction in 1997. She has received one-on-one training from a pelvic health specialist in Pennsylvania and has attended multiple continuing education classes throughout the United States to expand her knowledge of pelvic health. She received her PRPC certification in November of 2019.

She treats men, women, and children with many different diagnoses that are related to pelvic floor dysfunction including urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, dyspareunia (pain with intercourse), vulvodynia, pelvic pain, low back pain, hip pain, abdominal pain, fecal incontinence, and constipation. Many different treatment approaches are utilized, and the client’s plan of care is formed according to his or her specific needs.

In addition to her work with clients, Sandy helps to instruct physical therapy students on the importance of pelvic floor function and treatment and assists in continuing education in pelvic floor rehabilitation for fellow physical therapists. She currently practices at Advanced Physical Therapy, an outpatient clinic in Little Rock, Arkansas. She is a native Texan but claims Arkansas as her home. She enjoys photography, baking, and following her husband and twin sons into whatever they are doing.
