Alona Stein received her bachelor's degree in clinical science and her master's degree in physical therapy from Ithaca College, and shortly thereafter she received her doctorate in physical therapy (DPT) from Boston University.
Alona started her career working in inpatient acute care where she specialized in wound care. In this setting, she became a certified wound specialist (CWS) and became certified in the LeDuc method of lymphedema management. After six years working in acute care, Alona transitioned over to working in outpatient orthopedics and completed a 10-month manual therapy certification through the Ola Grimsby Institute.
For the last five years, Alona has specialized in treating male and female pelvic floor dysfunction and helped start the pelvic floor rehab program at Tri-City Medical Center in Oceanside, CA. She currently treats male and female pelvic floor dysfunction for Palomar Health at their San Marcos clinic. Alona is also currently more than halfway through completing a master's degree in health care administration (MHA) through Des Moines University. When she's not working or studying, she loves to spend time with my husband and two daughters.
