Hi! My name is Emilee Poirier. I am originally from the MidWest but relocated to Florida after completing my Doctorate in Physical Therapy at The University of South Florida. My passion for pelvic floor therapy started when I was in my final clinical rotation for PT school, and I was working on rehabbing postpartum mothers for diastasis recti and core weakness. I decided to start an 8-month mentorship prior to graduation in Clearwater, FL where I worked with men, women, and children with multiple diagnoses of pelvic floor dysfunction.

I have landed my dream job with BayCare Health System where I still treat every person that comes through the door with a pelvic floor diagnosis. I have taken the core classes of Herman and Wallace that prepared me for the Pelvic Rehab Practitioner Certification which I proudly hang up in my office. I am always learning and taking more courses to provide my patients with the best clinical research and outcomes. My goal is to always make sure that my patients are educated and treated with compassion and expertise in order to get to the root of their pelvic floor issues and on to improving their quality of life.
