Racquel Kurzweg started her health and wellness journey 17 years ago as a group fitness instructor. She would go on to work as a fitness instructor and personal trainer over the years before realizing her true calling and desire to treat as a physical therapist where she would be able to care for the health of the person and not just the outside image. She attended the University at Buffalo where she received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree.
After graduating with her doctorate, she immediately began treating patients with pelvic and pregnancy-related conditions. She went on to develop pelvic floor physical therapy programs at two different clinics within a local hospital system, as well as create an inpatient program for new mothers to receive physical therapy in the hospital after birth. As the healthcare system continued to change, Racquel discovered the best opportunity to care for her patients would be to step out on her own to open, Adore Your Core Physical Therapy.
Racquel has had the honor and privilege to instruct in higher education, as well as teach continuing education courses to birth professionals such as Doulas, RNs, and physical therapists. She has also been a part of teaching childbirth education classes, postpartum fitness classes, and public speaking events to small and large audiences on incontinence and pelvic health.
