Bijal received her undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia in 2009, and her Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree from Hampton University in 2013. In addition to earning her PRPC through Herman & Wallace Institute in 2022, she has been a Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT) since 2018.
Shortly after beginning her career, she found her true passion to be pelvic health physical therapy. She believes all individuals should have a basic understanding of their pelvic floor anatomy and function to be able to recognize any dysfunction and seek help when necessary. She began her training with Herman & Wallace in 2015 and continues to participate in continuing education courses to further her knowledge and skill set, thus providing the best care possible for her patients.
Bijal has been treating adult female and male pelvic floor patients since 2015, and treats individuals with various diagnoses, including but not limited to pelvic pain, urinary/bowel dysfunction, oncology-related dysfunction, gynecological conditions, and the prenatal and postpartum population. In her free time, Bijal enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.
