Sahana Baker-Malone graduated with her masters in occupational therapy in 2003 from the University of Southern California. She has been working in pediatrics since 2005 and co-owns Development is Child's Play, a multi-disciplinary pediatric therapy clinic in Cupertino, California. Sahana also holds advanced practice certifications in Swallowing and Sensory Integration. She works primarily with children who have bowel and bladder dysfunction related to sensory differences and is currently completing her doctoral work in this area at Boston University's Occupational Therapy department. Sahana is creating a diagnostic questionnaire for children who have toileting challenges related to under-responsiveness to the sensory input. Sahana is also a certified birth doula.

When not working, Sahana enjoys traveling, spending time with her husband and three children, playing roller derby, and swimming in warm water.
