Ayesha is a senior physical therapist who earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at SUNY Downstate Medical Center. She has experience in pelvic health rehabilitation for both gender-conforming and nonconforming patients. Ayesha took several postgraduate courses in pelvic health prior to obtaining her Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner Certification. She continues to enjoy furthering her education and tries to stay updated with current evidence to best provide for her patients. In order to best help her patients return as close to their previous level of function as possible, Ayesha’s therapeutic focus lies in patient-centered care shaped by a biopsychosocial model. She has additional experience treating neurological, vestibular, orthopedic, and pediatric patients, and continues to treat most of these populations as well.
