Postpartum Continuing Education

Care of the Postpartum Patient is one of three courses in a series designed as three separate two-day classes designed to give the learner a broad knowledge base of issues encountered in physical therapy during the pregnancy and postpartum periods. There is no prerequisite for any of the courses, however, it is recommended that the participant have experience and at least one course in pregnancy and post-partum issues prior to taking the “special topics” course.

These courses are Care of the Pregnant Patient and Care of the Postpartum Patient. The advanced course offering is Peripartum Special Topics
