Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
- Describe symptoms (sensory vs motor) for each structure listed below
- Identify the anatomy and pathway of each nerve
- Perform neural tension test for differential diagnoses
- Perform mobilization of nerve
- Perform neural/fascial pathway to release surrounding peri-neural structures from common regions of entrapment
- Perform local balancing/integration of nervous system
- Perform neural gliding and sliding of nerve
- Prescribe a home program to maintain neural treatment
- These objectives will focus on the following nerve structures:
- Lumbar plexus and nerve roots
- Ilioinguinal nerve
- Iliohypogastric nerve
- Genitofemoral nerve
- Lateral femoral cutaneous nerve
- Femoral nerve
