Physical Therapist - SIU Dept of OB-GYN, Pelvic Wellness Center (Springfield) Illinois

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine is seeking a Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist for our specialized Pelvic Wellness Center. The position responsibilities will primarily include the evaluation, treatment and management of patients with pelvic floor dysfunctions.

Salary range offered will be $88,019-$96,821 annually and will commensurate with qualifications and experience. In addition, SIU School of Medicine offers an excellent benefits package.

SIU School of Medicine is located in the historic capital city of Springfield, Illinois with a population of 120,000 serving over 2 million throughout central and southern Illinois. Springfield is conveniently located between St. Louis, Chicago, and Indianapolis. Required Skills : This position requires an Illinois Physical Therapy license in good-standing. Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent from an accredited institution. Specializing in pelvic floor rehabilitation (e.g., Herman & Wallace, APTA Women’s Health, or equivalent). Applicants must have a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent from an accredited institution. Applicants must be sensitive to the needs of underrepresented minority populations, must be able to work cooperatively and collegially within the workplace environment, and must be able to adhere to departmental and institutional policies and procedures.

Desired Skills/Qualifications :

Experience in an academic medical center or teaching hospital is a plus but not required.
