Pappus Pelvic Health and Wellness Clinic is seeking a full and/or part time dedicated and compassionate Pelvic Health Physical Therapist to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in helping patients regain their health and well-being by providing specialized physical therapy services for a range of pelvic floor-related issues, including but not limited to pelvic floor dysfunction, painful intercourse, pregnancy and postpartum, low back pain, urinary incontinence, pelvic pain, constipation, and more. Additionally, you will work with patients dealing with cancer and lymphedema-related concerns.
Key Responsibilities:

Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of women's health conditions, including pelvic floor evaluations, to determine the underlying issues and develop personalized treatment plans.

Physical Therapy: Administer evidence-based physical therapy interventions tailored to individual patient needs, with a focus on improving pelvic health and overall well-being.

Education: Educate patients on their conditions, treatment options, and self-care techniques, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery.

Documentation: Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, documenting progress and treatment outcomes.

Collaboration: Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to provide comprehensive care to patients.

Research and Stay Informed: Stay updated on the latest advancements in women's health physical therapy through continued education and research, ensuring the highest standard of care for our patients.

Compassionate Care: Provide emotional support and a safe, welcoming environment for patients, recognizing the sensitive nature of pelvic and women's health issues.
Qualifications
Doctorate, Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy
North Carolina or eligibility for NC State licensure as a Physical Therapist
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Empathetic and compassionate attitude toward patients
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
