Certified Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care and a passion for helping individuals regain mobility and improve their quality of life. This role involves developing and implementing effective treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs, with a focus on both outpatient orthopedic and pelvic floor rehabilitation.
Required Skills :
• Demonstrate competence in overall abdominopelvic health conditions while incorporating evidence-based practices.• Demonstrate knowledge and skills in completing pelvic floor dysfunctions assessment and establishing treatment plan of care based on physical therapy standard of practice.
• Develop individualized care plans that address specific patient goals and rehabilitation needs.
• Confidently implement treatment techniques such as trigger point therapy myofascial release, visceral manipulation, soft tissue mobilization, ultrasound, biofeedback, electrical stimulation, cold laser, transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation, and other outpatient rehabilitation strategies.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment options, exercises, and self-care strategies to promote recovery.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care within various systems.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with regulatory standards.
Desired Skills/Qualifications :
• Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation Certification (Level 1 & 2)• Previous experience(s) or clinical rotation handling pelvic floor caseloads.
• Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of New York.
• Bachelor's Degree.
