Jennifer Celso, PT, DPT, PhD(c), WCS
Dr. Celso is a Kansas Licensed Physical Therapist since 2001 and is a Board-Certified Women’s Health Specialist through the American Physical Therapy Association’s Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. Jennifer earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Service, Organization, and Policy in 1999 followed by a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy in 2001 from Wichita State University. She completed her Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree from Northeastern University in Boston, MA in 2009 and is working on her PhD Dissertation titled, “A comparison of overall function between postpartum women with and without diastasis rectus abdominis,” at Texas Women’s University in Dallas, Texas. She is the Assistant Program Director and Associate Teaching Professor for the Department of
Physical Therapy at Wichita State University, where she teaches differential diagnosis and all women’s health curriculum. Jennifer owned a private women’s health practice from 2012-2019 and now practices at Integrated Center for Therapy in Wichita, Kansas. Dr. Celso is certified in dry needling and manual therapy and has been practicing in pelvic floor rehabilitation since 2004. She has served as a teaching assistant for Herman & Wallace since 2009. Jennifer is very passionate about women’s health education and enjoys training other PTs to help as many women and men with pelvic floor dysfunction as possible.
Personally, Jennifer has been happily married to her husband Matt since 1998 and they keep busy with their 3 adult/teenage children, Brandon, Joey, and Kaitlyn. She enjoys hobbies such as photography and scrapbooking, but her favorite pastime is watching her teenagers compete in Cross Country, Track, Volleyball, and Soccer.
