I graduated with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Miami with a passion for orthopedics, sports medicine and amputee rehabilitation. Pelvic floor therapy was so far off my radar that I didn't even bother to take the women's health elective in school! A chance conversation with my gynecologist and a sudden influx of pregnant women at the clinic where I worked inspired me to attend Herman and Wallace's PF1 class in 2016. I haven't looked back since.
I founded my pelvic therapy practice, Empowered Pelvic Health, in 2019 with the passion to provide high-quality, one-on-one therapy for women, men and children with pelvic floor dysfunction. We are located in Bergen County, NJ and treat diastasis recti, pregnant/postpartum considerations, pelvic pain, pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence/urge, fecal incontinence, chronic constipation, pediatric pelvic floor dysfunction and dyspareunia. I am board certified in Orthopedics through the APTA and earned my PRPC in 2020.
I have been a teaching assistant since 2020 and am always so energized after working with new pelvic therapists as they enter this incredible field. When I'm not treating or teaching, I love to be near water (lake or beach) and learn something new - I've taken up boxing this Summer!
