Erica Gould graduated from Physical therapy in 1999 from St. Jude College in Manila Philippines. She has 22 years of experience working in orthopedics, but her passion is in treating lymphedema and pelvic dysfunction.
Lymphedema therapy was her 1st love. She has taken advance courses with the Foeldi Clinic in Germany, the pioneer in manual lymphatic drainage. Erica became a board-certified Lymphedema therapist in 2007 by the Lymphology Association of Northern America. In 2014 she became board certified in Wound care by WCC.
After the birth of her son she developed coccyx pain which opened her eyes to pelvic therapy. She has taken numerous courses with Herman and Wallace Institute. She reached her goal to become a board-certified pelvic therapist in 2019. She is now a senior TA with Herman and Wallace. She also serves as a Clinical Instructor for DPT specifically for students wanting to specialize in pelvic rehab.
Erica opened her private practice "Harmony lymph and pelvic physical therapy" in Fort Pierce, Florida in 2019. So she can concentrate on lymph and pelvic rehab treating patients one on one, and concentrating on helping patients reach their goal.
Her newest love is dry needling. She became board certified in Dry needling in 2020 with special interest in dry needling of the pelvic floor. When Erica wants to relax you can find her painting mermaids or seahorses, playing at the beach with her son or just cuddling with her hubby and Shih Tzu Billy.
