Magdalena's love of Pelvic Health began over 10 years ago and she continues to hone her skills through participation in ongoing learning and collaboration with other professionals. She currently works as a staff physical therapist in an outpatient setting for a large physician-owned practice in Chicagoland's suburbs, primarily working with adult men and women. Since 2019 she's been serving as a co-coordinator of the Pelvic Health Team for Duly Health and Care, enjoying the leadership aspect as well as mentoring, learning, and collaborating with other professionals. One of her recent accomplishments includes earning the Certificate of Achievement in Pregnancy / Postpartum Physical Therapy from the American Physical Therapy Association. Magdalena also serves as a member of the Research Committee at the Academy of Pelvic Health Physical Therapy. She believes that lifelong learning and professional collaboration uplifts our clients and our profession.
Magdalena is excited and honored to join the ranks of Lead Teaching Assistants for the Herman & Wallace Rehabilitation Institute; she began working as a Teaching Assistant for the institute in 2023. After leaving her native Poland she settled in Canada where she earned a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Western Ontario. While working for a community hospital in one of the southwest suburbs of Chicago, she earned her Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Indianapolis and more recently she earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Montana-Missoula.
Magdalena enjoys spending her free time with her husband and her 2 children and her favorite pastime is visiting botanical gardens and national parks during travels.
